Paul Krugman: Raise the minimum wage! In the United States, it is well passed time to raise the minimum wage to spur US growth. The owners of businesses are the ones who will benefit most as this will boost demand, which has been the key problem that has hampered anemic US growth during this recovery. It makes so much sense for the US economy to do this at this point.
